That’s the hottest technology news here today. If you can’t read a word of Finnish, let me sum that up for you.
When Apple released their newest version of the iPhone couple of days ago, they put an advertisement out to the public on their site. Couple of minutes to the video, Scott Forstall says: “It’s all about connecting people.” Makes sense, right? This well-fitting phrase has been under heavy fire in Finland, because it contains our national pride’s slogan, “Connecting People”. Sounds familiar? Well, it does, but there’s certainly no way Apple has intentionally copied Nokia. What’s even worse is that these newspapers actually think that Apple will somehow get some profit out of this magical slogan of Nokia’s.
I simply don’t get it. Suddenly it seems that it’s not the latest trend to praiseApple, but indeed try to find every simple bit of their public image which can be made fun of. First comes Google, then Nokia.
Hey Google, Nokia doesn’t use your map services in their products! Sue them!
