I’m not missing Instagram anymore.

Got my Nokia Lumia 920 on last Friday, and if it weren’t for the random battery drains, I’d be thoroughly satisfied with it. The software is amazing, and the live tiles are something we haven’t seen before in a mobile OS.
Got my hands on an app called Lomogram, which is free. Had a couple of freezes while selecting the filter but other than that, it’s great. Not quite as fast and lacks the social options of Instagram, but the best replacement before IG comes aboard, and why not use this after? It has options for vignette, cropping and all kinds of goodies that IG doesn’t have. Not to mention that the camera on the Lumia 920 is a beast. To wrap it all up here’s a couple pictures I’ve taken with the app.

Teens on tumblr
There seems to be a specific group of users on tumblr. Teenage girls reblogging everything they see. (Mainly hipster pictures with lame-ish meanful and deep-y captions)
Things is rad.
Thanks to Cultured Code for providing the beta version of Things! Just bought Clear for my iPhone yesterday, and back to using Things as I found out they had a beta version out. It finally has iCloud support! The apps are just heaps better when you don’t have to worry about syncing, just write down your todos and they’re synced across devices. They are a bit slow on the developing side, though, as all of their competition has some kind of sync support, which is a major thing as Cultured Code charges more from their apps than anyone else on the market. Well, they’re pretty, and they work well as of now. Thanks.
